

Our Aims
Canterbury Harmony Group Incorporated a non-profit organization with many different community projects across
the Canterbury - Bankstown - Innerwest district, with aims to strengthen and enhance multicultural Diversity, understanding, community awareness
within the whole community.
The many voices united as one powerful voice, to promote Peace, Education, and Community awareness to Pacific Islanders their friends, and multicultural community. To provide services that meet community needs in working partnership with
various communities, professionals, government and non- government agencies,
stakeholders to initiate and to provide direct services and support to children, parents, senior citizens, their families and the whole community according to their
individual circumstances. PISSAM's goal and priority is to provide services that
identify community‘s needs in emergency
situations giving them instant relevant and appropriate support in time of grief, loss and need. All future
and current projects are managed under the umbrella of Canterbury Harmony
Group Incorporated and auspice by Riverwood Community Centre.
Our vision
To have inclusive support to all members of the Pacific Islanders, emerging communities and others who may seek support from PISSAM. Individual contribution are welcome by the program. PISSAM encourages people to participate in their various programs in working at home with children, school and the community. Whatever we do paid or volunteer, the services we provide, as mentors and leadership roles are our dreams by accepting and tolerating to all whom we provided services to, regardless of where they come from. PISSAM's vision and aims it's members to be proud of a community, free of fear, free of drugs, free of violence, free of addictions but to acknowledge, appreciate each others' good work to provide good education in all spectrum of the community. We encourage being a good mentor, great leadership and to promote healthy life styles to bring peace and harmony across Canterbury and beyond.
Our objective
Bring together members of established
new arrival migrant communities and emerging communities to share, discuss, address issues to meet people's needs. To give direct information, community awareness in all
levels and to provide services that are relevant, appropriate, viable and available to children, families and the community.
Harmony community Radio (HCR) South Pacific Voices Radio and Newsletter is a service to provide education on health
issues, education on multicultural appropriateness, issues that meets the
community needs, Youth voices, mental health issues, emergency consultation. Direct
community information both in English and in many languages by PISSAM, Service Providers, Professionals live on air, via the Web site and the newsletter.
There will be weekly community
announcement, broadcast multinational music and produce annual community
documentaries that showed our diversity
of our Pacific Nation, emerging communities. Putting aside our differences and be united to take our
Pacific Islanders people, and emerging community forward.
Our values
We believe in good Identifying, planning, prevention, action and protection. Every member of the community have the opportunity to learn, contribute, have access to services to meet their needs, to put in their opinion, to share their knowledge and to listen to others needs. PISSAM focus on Community Friendly and Safety environment.

dreams and what to achieve
We believe in Positive Change, accepting the change to get results, take action, to take
control and to execute results until we get there. We must accept where we are.
A vision where we are going. How we will
get there? The sky is the limit. As long as we are completely do the
best of our best to our children, our families, our communities, our country are as good as reaching the sky. Ensuring that our principles, accountability,
transparency are in place and will take care of whatever we are about to deliver. Our charity
start with our family at home, school, community and eventually will
achieve the prosperity that every parents, dream for their children and
community.
